Wirelessly posted (8830: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.9800/208; U; en))

So I installed from .149 to vz .176, now when I start operamini I keep getting prompted for a low level network connection. I went to options / advance options / opera mini and changed edited permissions to allow carrier internet. But I still get this prompt. Any ideas to get rid of this. In 148 it was asked once and only once. Any ideas??

TIA

What was your default?
I ask because I never had to change any configuration other than the settings on the emulation mode.

I am getting the same message, even if I try and change the setting. I am sure that Opera is aware of it, and hopefully working on the problem for us.

Default Not only Opera - 11-24-2007, 10:12 AM

It seems like it is not only MiniOpera. I use regularly a program called ExpenseLog and now every time I open it up and try to do a sync of my business expenses between my Blackberry and PC, it asks if I have permission to access the internet.

I was having a similar problem with JiveTalk. I un-installed the application, pulled the battery and then re-installed. Once I answered the security allow/deny question it has worked perfect after that and it never asked again. Not sure if that will work for you but worth a try if you've not done it already.

Dave...

Default Dave - I tried that - 11-24-2007, 11:58 AM

Dave
I tried that and it still asked for permission. I have to click on yet and then the program works perfectly.
