Have not sync'd my 8800 since upgrading from 7290. Connect USB cable and BB DEsktop Manger still saying "disconnected".

Tryed options and detect but still does not find it.

Any Ideas

Install the newest (or newer) version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
If you're using the one you had from your 7290, it likely doesn't have the correct drivers for the 8800.
