On my new 8820 (recently patched to the latest OS listed in this forum) there's a voice note feature which I was hoping for, but it only let me send voice notes via MMS! Is this normal, and if so is there a good replacement that people recommend?

Is that OS 4.2.2.184? Does it have the updated mediaplayer?

As for an updated Media Player, I didn't notice anything new about it, but I see in 4.3 there's a new Voice Notes option in Media Player, is that what you meant? Any idea when 4.3 will be available for the 88xx series?

4.2.2.184 does not have the new media player. :(
