any body try this yet?does it really change the color of the track ball??

88xx do not have color leds. so you cant change to other colors, sorry

the 8100 has 4 color leds. red, blue, green(rgb) and white. 88xx and 83xx only have white. so no.

Pimp my Pearl will change the LED (not the trackball) on the 8830. I found it more annoying than cool, so I quickly removed it after seeing what it did.

Agreed, a friend of mine had it on his pearl, and my first thought was that it would change my ball too. Nope, I like my 8830 just the way it is.
