Our email domain host (Charter) recently began required authentication from our Outlook Express accounts in order for our office staff to be able to send emails. If I understand correctly, this means the Charter server checks our email id and password prior to accepting the email message we're sending to be sure it's coming from a legitimate account / user and not from a spam source.
Since that change, I can no longer send myself or anyone else in my office an email from my blackberry. I can send email to anybody else with no problems.
When I send myself an email, I get a message that says the email is undeliverable, authentication is required to send email as
![[email address]](http://www.blackberryforums.com/?emailimage=f14ad0d2d7ac05aa5cfa20f7de647e45)
.
I've talked to both Sprint and Charter tech support and, of course, they're pointing at each other and neither can offer me a solution.
Thanks,
