i have 4.3 installed for my 8830.

What am i doing wrong

do i need to upgrade?

4.3? You must mean Desktop Manager 4.3? Most on here won't recommend DM 4.3 as it seems to be a bit buggy. 4.2 SP2 seems to e the best.

As for the 8GB sd, I don't think the BB supports it - yet. Some have managed to get the 6 GB to work, but not the 8 GB. At least I haven't seen anything to say that. I think the best one is the 4GB right now.
