You didn't say that!
The only AT&T BB with WiFi is the 8820.

No, it's not better. It's all a matter of what the person's needs are and what that person prefers.

the grass on the other side of the fence always 'seems' better. once you get over there you find out that it is different maybe but the same as you left.

buy for full keyboard or gps or other features. Dont changed because someone else thinks it is better. It may only be better for them.

What hasn't been mentioned in this thread is the biggest difference between the 8320 and the 8820: 8320 has camera, 8820 has GPS. This difference alone should allow most people to choose between the two.

I went with the 8820 and I love having the GPS, but sometimes I miss the camera. If you really need both, get the Curve and a GPS bluetooth puck.

well, I'm a photographer so I don't really need the 2MP camera anyways hahaha! so I'd much rather have GPS! thanks for the information everyone, I appreciate it. Take care

There are advantages to each.

The 8820 has Wifi and GPS. The wifi can ONLY be used for data, no calling, but it works. It is larger than the 8320 but has better battery life. The keyboard is not as easy to use but it is more aesthetically pleasing.

The Curve 8320 is smaller, has wifi for both data and calling, and the keyboard is very easy to use. However, there is no GPS. There is a camera on the back but there is less battery life than with the 8820. I have the 8320 and sometimes I miss the 8800 series phone because of the impressive battery life.

Go with what works for you...I probably would trade my 8320 for an 8820 since I don't need the Wifi calling and Wifi for data on the BlackBerry is pointless. My E61i is a MUCH better data device...
