Which HTML email app is the king? Or which is the best overall with the most features and best integration?

Right now I lean toward the Pro version of Empower. Very smooth running and lots of features.

There are several threads about this... The majority opinion seems to be that the empower pro version is the best choice... I trialed both and liked empower better... They both have free trials so check them out and decide for urself... Or u can search around this forum to see what everyone else has to say

Suppose I should of searched... Sorry, was on my BB. BBSmart looks ok but I get an exception -1 error when I try to get into the options. My BB isn't unlocked yet and my sim is still invalid so I'm not sure if that is the problem. I have Empower installed right now and from the screen shots it seems like a solid program.

Locked bb vs. unlocked bb shouldn't matter.

Empower pro is sweet. Great upgrade for $5 for those of us who had the standard version!!!

I had both Empower and BBSmart. Used them both at different points in time. Now, with the Pro version of Empower, I think it totally blows away BBSmart.

Smile BBSmart vs Empower - 12-29-2007, 07:07 PM

Hi:
Just thought that I would add my experience with both of the e-mail viewers in question on a Verizon BB 8830.

Simply put, BBSmart, although nice in appearance, caused a periodic "Uncaught Exception" error, whereas, Empower Pro has been working like a charm ... at least so far!

what Bishop said. I got that exception error once in a while too. Empower Pro is the first app I actually paid for that I feel like I got my moneys worth!

This app not only works but seems to understand us BB folks.

First Class App for the BB! 5 Stars! *****

Another vote for Empower Pro. The speed of it is great, and it is pretty customizable, too.

Empower has the ability to cache your html data on the storage card which is something BBsmart does not do. I emailed the BBSmart team on this and they are working on a updated version that will be impressive is what I was told. So I actually own both and one for each device and go back and forth. I feel BBsmart does a better job of adding appt. to the calendar but the caching part is what got me.

Had both. Empower Pro wins. Faster and different email clients can be customized so that the header will tell you which client it is using. Very cool.

I also loaded "Empower" yesterday. I have no experience with BBSmart, but tried Empower due to earlier comments in this thread. Very satisfied with my decision, the software is quick, and easily modified (different colors, backgrounds, headers, fonts, etc for different email accounts, etc.).
