Thank you both as that information is very helpful - I just found out that MUTE and MAGNET both do the same thing ultimately. Making them both equally "useless" in terms of this Noreve case. That is once the "standby magnet" flap is closed, once that flap slips, the 8830 turns back on (in my pocket) and then eventually TIMES-OUT and then any keypress turns it on and it may do whatever accidently is invoked at that point.
I guess it is either a NEW case or pressing the ALT-ENTER key combination to lock the keyboard so that it is not accidently tuned to respond to errant (pocket) key presses. Or I think that I read there is a setting for a time-out keyboard lock. But both those remedies require a special keypress combo to allow its use.
