I am a new user of balckberry 8800 in India and am using regular Sim Card with GPRS services enabled from airtel. After lot of efforts I have been able to activate GPRS on my phone and using opera mini browser however I am not able to download any thing as it pops up a message "your device does not currently have nay browser configuration service book entreis. Please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device."

Please help.

You cannot download anything over-the-air (OTA) without a BB data plan. Your gprs plan won't do it. Downloading OTA requires the use of the BB's native browser.

You don't configure the BB browser on any BB. Its service books are automatically pushed to your BB when your Blackberry registers itself on your carrier's network. The BB data plan is a prerequisite.

Thanks Guys, I got the BB plan activated however when i do register now no message for activation comes back, I have been suggested to reload bb software it migh have been corrupted, please help if there is any other way to resolve this.
