Default UK O2 TCP settings (I know I know - I've already searched for them) - 02-10-2008, 10:22 AM

I've searched for the TCP settings for O2 UK. I keep getting these ones:

APN: wap.o2.co.uk
User: o2wap
Pass: password

Has anyone recently actually had luck with these. They just dont work for me.

I can use the web browser, and email. But some third party apps just can't connect.

without a Blackberry Data plan, you may not be able to use certain applications. do you have a BB data plan from o2?

what applications are you having trouble with? first troubleshooting step you did, try the APN settings. second, have you tried a battery pull with the device on and then rebooting?

I just tried the battery pull. I just realised that there is an error log in the BB. I think that I will contact the app developer as the log shows a Java Error.

OK, the tcp setting is: mobile.o2.co.uk username:faster password: password

But you do know these setting is not covered by blackberry unlimited and you will get charged for it right?

Yep, just figured that it probably doesn't count as blackberry data and is hence chargeable (though no one knows for sure).

The settings do work, but I've deleted them until I verify whether my plan includes non-blackberry data.
