If it's an AT&T 8820 it has GPS but doesn't have BBMaps installed.

I have an Orange UK BB 8820 and I just changed the LBS.alx according to the above mentioned instructions. I started the app loader and BB maps shows up in my app list still there is no icon in the menu for it.

Any ideas why?

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020: BlackBerry8320/4.3.1.27 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Did you check the box for it in apploader and finish the loader process all the way to the end?

Then there's likely an error in your LBS.alx edit. Make sure you got all the vendor coding out. If you still can't get it then you can always download it from mobile.blackberry.com

The LBS.alx was correct, I downloaded and installed it again and now it works!
