Default Problem with email attachments - 02-26-2008, 01:55 PM

Hi,

Whenever I try to download an email attachment the BB starts to download it but then ends in an error - 'Couldn't receive more'. The attachment is not downloaded and subsequent tries yields the same result. The email message and attachment file names are marked with a big red X.

My BB reports 12MB of memory free, I'm operating on the Sprint network, and we do have a BB mail server at work.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks,

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8100: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Has this ever worked? If so, have you tried a hard reset?

Default Problem Solved!!! - 02-26-2008, 02:31 PM

Yes this did work in the past for some attachments - however I noticed something that I wasn't noticing before. Our MS Exchange server is linked to the BB BES, however I have a rule that moves some messages from my MS ES Inbox to a local Inbox on my PC.

What I just noticed (by good luck) in testing this again, is that an attachment with a message still on the BES but moved to my local Inbox folder will not download. When I moved the messages with attachments back to my MS ES Inbox they were able to be downloaded.

Self-inflicted problems are the worst
