Default charger resets phone and messed up BMW bluetooth! - 03-26-2008, 01:00 AM

So i got a new bberry to replace my old 8830 and i am using the same old charger. Wierd thing is when i plug in the charger or the car charger, phone resets nearly every time! I have to charge via USB in order to charge the phone. My dealer is getting me yet another phone and another charger so i can test both...LOL. Any ideas? OS issue?

I'm also suspecting your old charger. It might be grounded or something. New BB and new charger? Sounds good.

Good luck.

I have found mine resets when it hits a full charge on the car charger.

If it was doing it with both the car charger and your old charger, I suspect the berry. Maybe a bent pin that was grounding out when you plugged it in?

Let us know how it turns out. Interesting how it changes with the connection type, wall charger vs. computer.
