Default It could be me.... - 03-26-2008, 12:05 PM

but I can not figure it out! I recently plugged my BB 8830 into the laptop to sync as I have done for years. After the sync, I disconnected and all was OK except the header in my current theme (BB Dimension ZEN... on VZW) has turned from white to black! The time in the upper left is now black with white outline, as well as, the date in the middle (above battery meter). The 1XEV bar meter is now blue with white outline. I am not sure how this happened, and worse yet, I am not sure how to fix it. The steps I have taken so far are as follows:
[*]Battery Pull[*]reset theme under options[*]reset screen/keyboard settings under options[*]Beg Blackberry Forums for a cure!

In the long run, this has little to no bearing on the function or usability of the device, but it makes the screen darker and my curiosity is killing me. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated!

Would doing this erase any of my programs or settings?

Yes. You could make a backup first though, then just do a restore afterwards.

If you this, you may want to unselect theme settings when you don your backup, everything else will still be saved

Looks like I will have to do a backup and re-install. I will wait a few more days and see if I can get used to the darker screen. Thanks for evryone's input and direction.

Let me know if anything else comes to mind!

Wallpaper shouldn't change your header or your signal bars. I'm not saying it didn't but it definitely shouldn't.
