Default Verizon Blackberry 8830 UPC - 03-29-2008, 03:54 PM

I tossed my box before I filled out the rebate. Could someone post the UPC code for the Verizon Blackberry 8830? Thanks.

you need to send the physical UPC off of the box in anyway. Cheating the system is not supported here, locking the thread.

Also, cheating on rebates can easily get you convicted of felony mail fraud (federal offense.) I've seen it happen to people.

In light of a PM received I don't think blockschip is trying to scam anything. There is nothing wrong with giving out a UPC code. It's not a secret. Asking for someone to send an original UPC code might be a little shady, I don't see any issue with this question.

Thread reopened.

I don't think that sending anything to you will work my friend. Being that the original IMEI or ESN is attached to the original UPC sticker that came with the box, which to my knowledge has to match and be verified with your receipt. And besides, you'll need the original sticker anyway...not a duplicate.

Maybe you can call customer care and explain this situation to them and hope they're able to help you out? OR, you can go into a retail store and do the same. Best of luck!!!

When you turn on your phone, does it return the favor? Welcome to BlackBerry!

The reason I posted this was that Verizon sent me a postcard on Friday saying that they needed the UPC code and my ESN, and providing a URL to go to enter it in. But, you folks are right, I'll take the card and my phone down to the Verizon store where I bought it and see what the story is. Thanks for the input.
