Default Home Screen Not Being Displayed - 03-31-2008, 11:38 AM

Hi. I was deleting some applications from my BB and was connected to my desktop computer. I selected the applications to be deleted and pressed "next". Without thinking, I then removed the usb cable from my BB and the display on the BB immediately went white with the egg timer symbol displayed.

Since then I have removed the battery and done a couple of resets, but, although I can use the BB, it will not display the home page that is usually displayed when you turn it on. When the BB is switched on it goes immediately to the menu screen that displays, "messages", "calendar", "memopad" etc.

Can anybody tell me how to get the home screen back again?

Thanks.

Do you have any backup files? I think they would have .ipd extensions. This would be in your PC.

It sounds like you might have deleted the Theme that you were using., if the icons are all black and white now?

Try going to Options > Themes and choose one.

OR, do a restore as mentioned above.

I haven't got any backups and the problem persists no matter what theme I use.

ok, you are simply going to need to remember what Theme you were using.

"Homepages" = Homescreen are all set by the Theme. Apparently you deleted the Theme you were using, and now you don't have it?
