Default Intellisync unknown error - 03-31-2008, 09:59 PM

My Verizon wireless 8830 is recognized by the Blackberry Desktop manager on my laptop. When I click on synchronize it starts and then it gives the message "Unknown error reported".
The laptop is running Vista 64Bit Utimate with newly installed SP1. Desktop mgr worked flawlessly before the windows update.
This whole process works on my on my desktop running Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

Steve

What version of DM are you using.

Try deleting a few applications from the Blackberry that you don't need.

This solved the problem for me - the BlackBerry was running out of capacity.

Steve,

At what point does it throw the error? On calendar, Messages Tasks?

DM V4.3. I ended up doing a complete uninstall of the Desktop manager and reinstalled everything and it works again.

I am glad you were successful. If the problem persists, consider using the 4.2 version instead.
