Question Question on 8830 Hardware - 04-02-2008, 09:32 PM

What are the two copper colored spots, just below the convenience button, on the left side of the BB 8830. I'd think they might be some kind of electrical contacts, but I've not been able to find any charger that looks like they'd use those contatcs. If anyone has info on what those are and what would use them, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Tony

They are supposed to be for a desktop charger....of some sort.

I was told the same thing, but I've yet to see a charger with those two points making contact with the Berry.

Didn't see anything there that used them.

There are also several car kit holder/chargers for the 8800 BB's out there.

The BlackBerry Bury 8800 Comfort Cradle Car Kit is one of them.
