Default dropped calls? - 04-20-2008, 11:26 PM

Hi,

Just today i was in a call when it suddenly just dropped, I thought whatever happens...then it happened again few mins later...

Is this a known issue or something, because this has never happened to me, I usually full or almost full reception in my area, I didn't lose the signal...

I have a blackberry 8830 with Bell Mobility

thanks for any help.

Try removing the battery while the device is powered on. Then put the battery back in 30 seconds later. This will reboot the phone. That may just fix your problem. If you still have problems you may want to contact your provider.

I have been in areas that have full reception one second and moved a few feet and had nothing.

RF propagation can be a mysterious thing! You can run into a dead spot anywhere. If it happens all the time in different areas, I would worry, but if it does it in the same place often, it is juist a location problem.
