Hi everyone - I'm new to the forum so pls excuse the lask of BB jargon. The letter "p" keeps coming up on my BB 8800 message screen - its not a phone/sms/or other message. There is no text attached to the message - I am at a loss as to what it is. I operate using a BES server. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean, "the letter P?" Is it it's own message? What does it look like? Is it a text message or an email? A little more info will help...

Thanks John - that was quick!!! On the Messages screen where all my sms/email/phone messages appear a yellow icon similar to a trext message but taller and thinner appears on thye far left of the screen followed by the time sent and immediatey after the time that's where the P shows up - eg 5:17p p It shows in the from area, not in the message subject area. Hope that helps.

I think I may have stumbled on a reason for some of the issues I am having - our IT guy has not done ANY updates on the BES since Ver 4.0SP1 !!! I don't even think that the 8800 was around at the time of 4.0 SP1 so iy would be no wonder I am getting strange messages on my BB

I am a BIS user and we get the "p" if we don't chose a recipient to send to and save as a draft.
I assume your BES issue is a bit more complicated.
