When I get a new message, I'll see the update to show that I have a new message...whether it be a message from work email on the BES or a home email account I have setup on my device.

When I delete the message or view it, the new message indicator still shows I've got 1 new message, for example. It can even show that way once I've deleted all messages completely. I can make it update but selecting the "mark prior messages read" option, but you don't get that option if you have no prior messages at all (i.e., all messages have been deleted).

Any ideas?
