Default 8830 Movie Bluetooth problem - 04-30-2008, 01:19 PM

I can't find a solution in the prior postings - for some reason the movie sound playback will not work through my Motorola S9. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

That is just the way it works. The issue, as I've read it, is that the time lag in "broadcasting" the audio over bluetooth would lead to lip-sync issues. Clearly, BB could alter its programming to allow a tweak to the syncing of video to audio but that is not available. I don't know if 3rd party video apps work but I don't think I've read of any.

I appreciate the response. Audible books and mp3's seem to work fine on the 8830 but Movies won't play at all on the S9. I thought that there was something that I was doing wrong.

BTW, playback skips whenever an email is received. Is there a fix for that problem?

Until Rim/BB alters their Media Player to work with the lip-sycn, I don't think it will work - even if you wanted to ignore the problem.

I really don't know about the SKIP but suspect that the BB can only do one thing at a time and/or the email itself generates a TONE/BEEP/ETC which might interfere with the music/book
