Exclamation 8820 separating work BES email and personal BIS email? - 05-01-2008, 10:47 AM

I have a new 8820
Up and running receiving both work and personal emails.

The personal emails appear in both a separate Message icon/folder on the home screen and also in the default Messages icon/folder.

Work ones do not have a separate icon folder and appear only in default Message icon/folder.

Any way to separate them? Perhaps have personal emails just show in the BIS created folder and not the default?

Thanks

OK - should have read FAQ first because my answer is there.

I want to keep my personal mail and work mail separate. How can I separate my BES mail from my BIS mail?
In short, you can't.
The 'Messages' icon is a consolidated inbox, which gathers mail from all accounts linked to the device.
While BIS accounts get their own inbox icons, BES mail does not.
BES mail can only go to the 'Messages' icon, along with all BIS mail, PIN/SMS/Broswer messages.

Update (9/10/2007) :: New third-party app may help this issue.

Empower BES Mailbox

Empower is your answer and you nailed it on your own! That is if your BES Admin allows 3rd party installs! Good Luck!
