Question 8830 - Browser question - 05-05-2008, 08:04 AM

I've seen through out the forum talk of using different browsers (pocket i.e., wap etc) I have a VZW 8830 and when I go to option > change browsers the only one available to me is "internet browser". Does this have something to do with me being a Verizon customer? Or is there something else I don't know?

Curious.

Browser > Options > Browser Configuration > Emulation Mode. Select there.

I just keep mine on "BlackBerry" all the time, never change it.

I actually didn't even know those other options were in there, and I'm too lazy to try them all out I've been debating downloading a different browser such as Opera Mini, since I like the idea of a cursor, but I'm not sure if I want to mess with what isn't broken :(
