Default Deleting email messages in bulk - 05-05-2008, 05:34 PM

New 8830 user; great tool! Any way to delete many email messages at one time (select all, delete)?

Two ways:

1. Use the shift key and roll the trackball to select the messages to delete. Then press the "del" key.

2. Highlight a date. Press Menu key (left of trackball) and select "Delete Prior."

Scroll to the top most date bar (or any date bar) and press Menu > Delete Prior.

Or select a block of contiguous messages by holding the shift key and scrolling, and delete.

Another way you can delete the complete email thread is select one email and go to options and select "Search Sender" or "Search related messages" and then you can go to top and "Delete Prior"
