Default so i painted my 8820. - 05-06-2008, 03:12 AM

feeling inspired by some of the guys that had painted their curves.

i ordered a new rear housing and battery door from cnn.cn, and ordered a new full bse skin, i will leave the front black, as the simulated front colors dont really match the black keyboard on colorwares site.

everything finally came. and off i went to the shops to find some paint.

i didnt bother with a clear coat finish, as the bse skin would add a nice clear coat for it, and lift the red.

results of my new black/red 8820

i havent done any kind of painting before.
so i really cant testify to the durability of the paint.
hopefully it will hold up under the bse skin.

the parts werent overly expensive. so if it only goes 6months. i can always do it again. or revert back to the black.
