Default Ringer volume for 8830 - 05-20-2008, 10:03 AM

I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseum here, but does anybody know of any workaround or third party software to fix the ridiculously low ringer volume. It's hard to imagine that they would put this device out this way.
thanks

Use a third party ringer that is louder, and yes, it has been discussed ad nauseum.

You can make your own ringtones also. I use an audio editing program called goldwave. Just google it and download it. It is free and pretty easy to use. You can adjust the volume of your ringtones and even take out the bass if you don't want it to get too distorted.

Changing ringtone volumes on phone is easy, Just go to Profiles, scroll down to advanced, click on advanced, highlight desired profile, then click button to left of the mouse " edit", scroll down to phone, enter, then scroll down to volume. you can adjust volume there in, and out of the holster, and how many vibes in or out of holster.
