Exclamation Outlook on a 8830 - 05-21-2008, 01:14 PM

Hi & thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer. This is my 1st BlackBerry, had a Motorola Q prior, so I'm learning the system functions. I have sync'd my Blackberry with my Outlook program. Calendar, tasks, address book all loaded great. My problem is that in my address book I have notes next to some phone numbers, when a contact has more than one house line or multiple cell phone numbers ect. The problem I am having is the info looks great on the screen, but when I try to call the number, by just selecting it, the phone number plus all the notes, translated into numbers, becomes the number that is dialed. Is there a way of correcting this? My Q distinguished between the number & the notes. Do I have to re-do everything? Ugh, if that is the case. Thanks again for any help anyone can provide. http://www.blackberryforums.com/imag...n_confused.gif

Welcome to the forums.

You can certainly handle multiple phone numbers or email addresses, but I don't think that the text descriptions inserted into the numeric phone fields will be appreciated by the BB. I suspect that you might have to re-do these in the BB environment, but others with more knowledge may have better information.

Sorry that I do not have better information for you.
