Default ublocked problems - 05-23-2008, 03:44 PM

i just recently purchased an unblocke code to unblock my 8800 blackberry as i follow the instructions e-mailed to me i get an error code message after i enter the ubblock code provided.Does anyone know what else to do? please help

You need to be careful NOT to enter the unlock code incorrectly 5 times, it will lock permanently to the branded carrier.

Here are good instructions, if your unlock code is good, you should be good.

Oh no! All FIVE? If so, I am sorry to say that your phone is now permanently locked to it's current carrier. If you are switching carriers then your only option is to sell to phone to someone who plans on using the carrier it is on.

Sell it to someone who doesn't need an unlocked device, and then buy a new one and try again.
