Default network@etp messages - 05-24-2008, 12:26 PM

I've had an 8820 for seveal months with no issues. I receive messages from my Exchange server and from my comcast account. Two or three days ago, I began receiving the network@etpxxxx... messages several times a day. I administer the BES server and I've made no changes to that or to my 8820. Does anyone know why these messages started to appear and how I can stop them? TIA.

This normally occurs when a BIS user installs the redirector option on their handheld not intending to use it. In your case I'm not sure what is causing it other than your encryption key is out of date. Please see the FAQ and see if it gives you any clues as to how best to proceed. Unless you installed DM with the redirector option I don't think it will solve you issue:

I keep getting odd emails from RIM - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck and report back!
