Can you sync Exchange email? Almost certainly. Does your Exchange have a BES? If so, get placed onto it. If not, do they allow Outlook Web Access? If so, configure BIS to grab the mail through OWA. If not, find out if your firm will permit forwarding/copying of the Exchange email to another account (e.g., gmail) which can be accessed by the 8800.
Can you sync ISP email? Again almost certainly. Is it a POP account -- probably is -- then you will get it.
Keep them separate: Each account has a separate folder/icon that can be used to keep them separate, or you can use the common message icon for all emails received. Some people elect to hide the common icon so that everything is distinct.
