As the topic states when I play a MP3 of anything minus the one that was preloaded the BB shuts off. Is there a known issue with this do I need to encode MP3s in a different format?

Also read that TOMOBILE upgrading to v4.5 would fry the sim card, can I remove the sim card before i upgrade the software?

At the top of this forum is a sticky with the latest OS for the 8800. Open it up and at the bottom od the first post is a link to the last "latest" OS thread. Just pick the latest version of 4.2.1. I recommend an update. Your OS is quite old.

Version 4.2.1.101 is what i will updrade too when i get home, is that correct?
