If you have verizon as your service, you can dial *72 and then the number you want to forward to before turning off your phone.

Or one could on the :
Hit the Green ('Send') button to get to the "Call Log"
Click Menu button and scroll to "Options"
Click on "Call Forwarding"

Default settings one should see enabled would be:
" Forward Unanswered Calls"
> If Busy: +1xxxxxxxxx
> If No Reply: +1xxxxxxxxx
> If Not Reachable: +1xxxxxxxxx
Shows your provider's VoiceMail box phone #.

Change that to"
"Forward All Calls": +1xxxxxxxxx (and enter desired phone number).
And then "Save" settings.

Of course, one shouldn't forget to take off the call forwarding after the
need to 'avoid' calls is over.

HTH.

Hey Graph,

Thx for ur reply man! What i'm missing is the option
"If Not Reachable" i only have the 1st two options and "Forward all calls"
If i only have the "not reachable" option it will save me from the hassle of turning on/off!!! Don't know why its not there??

Default How-to - 07-15-2008, 12:45 PM

Hey everyone - This is my first post.

I just forwarded a Verizon BlackBerry 8830 ph# to an iPhone with ease. Thanks to this forum I just followed instructions by legz (this thread). A more thorough write-up by wwasion from the thread => "No call forwarding option with Sprint 8830?"

Apparently, the Verizon BB 8830 World Edition doesn't have an Option for Call Forwarding in the menues. Even though the manual has a write up for Options | Call Forwarding.

**What I did**
- Turning on Call Forwarding on Verizon BB 8830: dial "*72 + iPhone ph#"
- Turning off Call Forwarding on Verizon BB 8830: not sure try "*720"???

N.B. Not sure if there's an extra surcharge. So double check with your carrier.

Wirelessly posted (8320 Curve)

The CDMA carriers (sprint/Verizon/altel(technically Verizon)/ and USCC) has always had different things left out from time to time. My big fuss is MMS. In still
