Default Change LED flash for different profiles? - 07-12-2008, 08:00 PM

Is there any way, either through native OS (4.2.2.148) or 3rd-party software, to customize the LED flashing for a profile? I'm not trying to change the colors, just an automatic way to turn it on and off.

I created a "Night" profile for my BB and the only thing that I can't seem to do is have the green LED flashing light turn off only for that profile; I want it to flash for all other profiles. I tried switching "Repeat Notification" to OFF, but that doesn't stop the flashing green LED (it only stops the LED from flashing red when I have a missed call or message).

I know that I can just go in to Options --> Screen/Keyboard and turn off the LED Coverage Indicator, but I'd prefer some way to do it automatically as I change to my "Night" profile.

I've done a search of the forums and looked through Handango for 3rd-party software, but I haven't found anything that helps---maybe that means that it can't be done, but I knew that if anyone had an answer, it would be on the user forums.

Any ideas or suggestions?

TIA.

You cannot turn on/off the LED Coverage via Profile.

Thanks for your quick response, x14. I had a feeling that was why I couldn't find anything about that capability, but I was hoping...

I guess I'll have to do it manually through Options --> Screen/Keyboard and actually remember to turn it on and off. My memory isn't what it used to be!
