Hi everyone,

I just got myself the Blackberry 8820, and I have some problems doing even the most basic things.
I'd like to install the B-phone theme from rogersmj..com (unfortunately I cant post the damn link) but all the warnings about the OS versions and the 8820 model kept me from actually loading it.
It says:
Requirements

* 8700 series: BlackBerry OS 4.2.1 or later. WARNING: You MUST have OS 4.2.1 or later or you may render your BlackBerry 8700 unusable! Go to Options -> About to check your OS version.
* Pearl (all versions): BlackBerry OS 4.2.1 or later
* Curve (all versions) and 8830: BlackBerry OS 4.2.2 or later
* 8800: BlackBerry OS 4.2.1 or later



My BB tells me that my OS version is v4.2.2.169. Can I load this theme to my BB or will it actually screw the whole piece?

It will work fine. Always check the first 3 sets. If yours match or are higher, its fine. The last few numbers are just the build number and honestly have no meaning to us. The first 3 are actually the releases and major upgrades. Basically the important stuffs. Lol
