Not sure if I should put this here or in the rants section.

I stopped by my local Sprint store to get a replacement trackball. The original would not work to go down. I get there and talk to the technician and he says he has to swap out the whole phone, that thet can't just replace the trackball. I told him that you could, and proceeded to pop mine out and showed him. He was amazed. He didn't know you could do that. He then found a WE that was brought in because a user bricked it. He pulled the trackball out of the bricked phone and put it in mine. I asked if I could buy a couple and he said that he can't even order them.

Does anyone know of an online retailer or a store near erie pa that would sell them? I would like to get a couple.

I posted my message from my BB. And I gave it a test run before leaving the store. It works great and might even "feel" better then the original.

I took qtip and alcohol with battery out and scrubbed the trackball. Dried it well and wala it worked again
