I just got my blackberry 8830. I am on verizon wireless and the phone is on my bosses family talk. The only connection that it has to the company is that I use their microsoft exchange mail server. My question is, if I created a blackberry email on the phone and forward my gmail to it, can the office IT people see my personal emails? The emails go into both the messages folder and the verizon email folder. But aren't the two emails completely separate and the only one visible to them is the exchange email?

So you are not on a BlackBerry Enterprise Service? Then no, no one can see your personal email.
