Question 8830 & Lotus Notes 6.5 Sync - 12-02-2008, 09:55 AM

I am using Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.7.0.32 with Lotus Notes 6.5. I am not able to get my "old" e - mail messages from the various Lotus Notes folders into the Blackberry. I have all the "folders" selected under "E-Mail Settings --> Folder Redirection", but they won't syncronize.

Can someone give me some direction?

Are you connecting to a BES ? Or just trying to sync with the Desktop Software?

Yes, I am connecting with a Blackberry Enterprise Server. I have already verified that it is the correct connection.

if you are just re-activating it will only pull new email. But if you delete the user from the BES and re-create the state database it will give you all email going back 30 days. I have done numerous times to get past messages for finicky users (that i have to wipe their BBs)

Can you walk me through the steps? I honestly need to pull the old e-mails into the Blackberry. They were all there until I upgraded to 4.7, then they "disappeared".

Thank you.

When you remove and readd a user, this is set on the bes, but usually the default is last 5 days or 200 messages. But I can't see most companies changing this for one user, unless you get a nice admin like wickedbez, your prolly not going to get anymore then last 5 days.

mmm I always thought 30 days was a default setting.
