My BB doesn't ring while it is plugged in charging. Is this the norm? My husband said it goes straight to voice mail. Can I change settings somewhere to make it ring while it's charging?

Turns out my phone had issues. Calls were going straight to voice mail 98 percent of the time. Now have my replacement and all is well; even the ring tone is louder!
