Is there any way to install the 8830 USB drivers without installing the desktop? I'd like to install it on my netbook, but don't want to use up valuable resources installing the desktop manager if I don't have to.

I have DM running on my ASUS 1000 and it really isn't an issue at all. Unless you have the small SSD I guess.
