Angry 8800 red light on for 5 seconds only - 07-13-2009, 10:03 PM

My 8800 is dead. When u charge it the red light goes on for 5 seconds and then all dead. When i remove the battery and replace it the red light goes on for bout 5 seconds and then still dead.... please help.

Are you trying to charge from a wall outlet or your computer?

Can you try and wiggle the Charger connection it could be the USB connector on the phone.


For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

I Used a wall charger as well as of my laptop...

Do you have warranty on the device, might need a new one.

During software installation i get a error. " unable to reconnect to the device during multiple-stage load operation ".... HELP PLEASE

Make sure the battery is fully charged and your not plugging your BB into a USB Hub, only use direct ports..

The most common cause of that error is the BlackBerry does not have/get enough power.
