Default 8830 Custom Theme Problem - 07-16-2009, 12:19 AM

Hey all,
I just made a custom theme for my 8830 World Edition with the Plazmic Theme Builder. I try to put it on my phone after HOURS of hard work, and it will not load. I tried doing it through the BB Desktop Manager but it says there are no files for my phone. I'm going to get a friend to host them on a website so I can DL the different files through the BB web client, but I'm thinking that's just going to be a PITA. Can anyone help me out or possibly see if they can DL the theme and maybe put it somewhere that I can DL it straight from my phone? I'm friggin lost and really pissed off at this thing right now. LOL

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

PS

If anyone wants this theme, I'll gladly share it. I just want to put it on my friggin phone!! The battery meter is a fuel gauge, the signal meter is a tachometer. Pretty cool stuff. The little hourglass is now a spinning turbocharger. I'm a car nerd, what can I say.

Thanks,

Brian

Did you install the phone's OS onto your COMPUTER? In order to install apps/themes the OS of the phone needs to be downloaded and then actually installed on the computer. Forgive me if you have done this but I see only the ONE POST so far so you might be new to the phone/BB.

Yeah I'm new. I just updated the phone's OS too. Now I have it all in there and it works great. I just finished doing it and was coming back to tell everyone I figured it out. LOL I'm dumb...

Thanks for the info though!!!
