Default problem with new instant messenger 5 - cant receive pictures or it takes for ever - 10-17-2009, 05:11 PM

I installed the new bbm 5 and i'm having issues with sending or receiving pics, most of the time after i accept to save the pics it tells me that it has expired cause it took too long, what can i do to fix this or HOW CAN I REINSTALL MY OLD MESSENGER WITHOUT LOOSING MY CONTACTS?

There's this wonderful thing called a SEARCH function.
Its in RED at the top of the forums, and if you search, you'll find loads of threads about both things you asked about.

To downgrade:
- Do a full backup of your device
- Download and install the current OS on your device to your PC
- Delete BBM 5.0 from Options -> Adv. Options -> Applications
- Run loader.exe and select the BBMessenger that comes with your OS
- Use Desktop Manager -> Backup/Restore -> Advanced to restore the BBMessenger database with your contacts.
