I hope so!!! I must be the only one here who likes it, but i NEED the launcher. Hate hokey leather geek cases.

What exactly are you referring to??? I am not sure what the 'launcher' is.

I think the OP means the junk holster that came with the 8700...

I doubt it will come with any holster at all...

When I had my 7100t it would always fall out of the holster
I kinda like the 8700 holster
Btw those the new holster come with Pal launch codes and a football? Sorry had yo ad to add to the icbm jokes lol

the original 8700 holster truly was a launcher... small tap and its off

but the newer design that released with the 8703e is far sturdier...
my bb hasn't taken off once since using the new holster design

I never had launching issues with my 8700's. Of course, Pearl is a pocket phone as the 8800 will be.

Not sure if the design has changed for the holster but the 8700c I picked up from Cingular last week is an extremely tight fit.....too tight as far as I am concerned. It is not the same holster I received with my original 8700c.

It looks similar to the 8700g from TMobile I had, but a much firmer fit.

I've never had problems with any of the OEM holsters and I've used a number of models. I recently received a new 8700c and the newer holster design is definitely too tight IMO as well. However, it's probably great for those who have had problems with older model holsters.
