Default Best indigo 8800 photo - 12-05-2006, 05:33 PM

Where's the biggest best photo of the front of the Indigo 8800? I found boygenius's powerpoint, but the actual image is too small. I am trying to show a coworker how it is cooler than the Blackjack, and I need a big photo.

(to compare with this one: Preview: Samsung BlackJack (Phone Scoop) )

TMo people don't get your hopes up. The photo's of the 8800 that are black belong to Cingular. If you notice those photos have the same color scheme as the Cingular Pearl, with the gunmetal grey sides, not the shiny silver sides of T-Mo. Just a heads up.

There are people that speculate just the opposite. That dark navy blue/black could follow Tmo's trend of style. I've heard in a couple of threads that Cingular would pick up the Silver color. Personally, between the 8700c and 8700g, I think Tmo made out with that color choice. Hopefully they'll do the same with the 8800.

Hi!

The T-Mobile 8800 will be all black with silver sides like the Pearl. I've got some pictures of the device and it looks very cool. These pictures are NDA so I can't post or show them.

The device reached the internal T-Mobile testcenter (at least here in Germany) - the device I've got pictures of has a german QWERTZ keyboard layout.

I'm sooo awaiting this beauty... ;) :D

Greetings

Yeah, I have to say, I read a few things on the BlackJack before I actually saw the picture of it, and I'm really disappointed in it. it's horrendous. A buddy of mine said it looks exactly like the Motorola Q, but I disagree... it's even worse... much worse... blech.

Anyone know where to purchase the black unlocked 8800. Right now I see Cingular is the only carrier to sell it ,amongst some websites that offer unlocked ones...but no black.

There is no black. It's a very dark blue that in some photos look black and in other more blue.

You can get a Cingular one and get it unlocked by a third party.

It's dark blue that photographs in light as black. Sorry but that's the way it is. That's all there is at the moment. All the available ones have Cingular logos.

The black version that's shown in the promo has not been released yet. The Cingular 8800 is dark blue, just a tad lighter than the 8700G midnight blue, but it's blue nonetheless.

The black 8800 is available at european carriers, like T-Mobile Germany and Vodafone Germany. The web site is in German, but you can see that it is black. In real the black of the 8800 is not as glossy as on the 8100.
BlackBerry 8800 Enterprise

Compared to the USA the device is quite expensive in Germany. The price without contract at T-Mobile is 630$ (including VAT) and at Vodafone 722$ (including).
