Default Blackberry8800.com "in action" video misleading? - 02-12-2007, 12:41 PM

I don't know if its just me but the blackberry 8800 from the blackberry8800.com site looks a little TOO good. It makes emails/the interface in general look way pretty. They even make the "video player" look different. It could be just me but I doubt that the video was from an actual working device. Seems as if they may have had some extreme video editors do all that fancy stuff. I would think that they would use the same media player from the pearl. I could be wrong seeing as I have never touched the unit.

I just wanna buy like NOW.

The skin/theme looks really slick, but it looks a bit generic.

I wonder if Boy Genius could comment on comparisons between the new site, and the device he tested....

Pretty sure that is just a mockup theme/OS. Doesn't look like anything i've seen...look at the email screen and all that, not likely I don't think
