I wish Cingular gave out a belt clip like one that's out for the 8700

I have to agree, the case is kinda girly, has a Coach store feel.

i second that comment. imo there is not substitute for the plastic holster. keep us posted if you find one.

I have dropped, ding'd, scratched and marred my 8700 more times due to that blank-et-y blank plastic holster. I am glad that they made a secure, impossible to jump out and fly down the concreted stairs of a Dallas Stars hockey game, not gonna drop into the toilet, leather holster.

No 8800 clip yet, but they do make this for the Pearl...I would buy this for my 8800.

How does the top work? Just a hard clip or does it have a flipping mechanism?

They will most likely release a clip, then a rubber skin with a bigger clip that works with that skin. Both clips should have magnets for sleep also.

I think a clip with a BlackBerry 8800 Full Body Shield would work well for me.

I hope so. I'll be buying 10 day 1 so I hope they hurry. I'm almost ready to switch back to pearl just to use the seidio holster again.
I hope they come out with extended batt for this too, they did an amazing job on the batt for 8700 and pearl I was impressed.

Well I have that for my Pearl and stoped using it for a while now. Just can't how high the pearl sits and end up hiting the body side when siting down.

Swivel/Love Handle Clip...right? I hope so. Working out more in NOT an option.
