Default Voice Dial Headset access - 02-27-2007, 11:15 PM

When I have my bluetooth headset paired, (HS820) pushing the talk button on the headset dials the last dialed number. I want this button to access voice command, does anybody know where this setting is.

Thanks,

Thanks,
make sure that you dont press it too long. All it need is one quick press not a press and hold. Try it and let us know if it worked.

It should work. My HS655 worked perfectly with the VoiceDial feature but just holding the button down till I hear the beep. All devices are slightly different. Try going to the Moto site and they have an extensive knowledge base for each device to see if that will help

It was key press time. I was holding the button down too long. A short tap did access the voice command. Long press did a "dial last number"
Thanks for the help.

Excelent. And a short tip, when calling you can shorten the time by saying call joh Doe home (etc) then you confirm if it is correct by yes.

Has anybody got this to work with a Jabra BT500. No matter how quickly I tap the button it automatically dials the last numbr called. It worked great with my RAZR.

I must say with my H670 I am not getting sufficient accuracy. Kinda frustrating as the button push works great.

Played with it and found that after deleting the connection and reconnecting it works now.

Default Same problem again - 05-01-2007, 08:58 PM

I recently had to have my BB wiped. Now I am having the same problem. I am lightly tapping the button on my HS820 and it is going to the last dialed number instead of voicemail. There has to be a setting on this thing somewhere. Any ideas?

Default Ever solve this problem? - 09-22-2007, 09:19 PM

Naxet, that's what I had to do. Our company relocated our BB Services to Mass from our local office in TX.

I had to wipe to reactivate, and now I get Last number dialed instead of VAD.

I've re-paired, deleted, and readded, removed the battery and everything.

I get only the same results.
