Default Installing Apps with Desktop Manager - 03-01-2007, 03:32 PM

I have tried to install Jabber and BBWeather on my 8800 using the desktop manager and in both cases it give me an error message that "No additional applications designed for your device were found." Does this mean those applications are not compatible with 4.2?

I have the latest Desktop Manager running on Windows Vista.

why bother with Jabber ? load google client from BlackBerry. Its jabber compatible and can link to any jabber user.

I actually use mine for MSN as there are jabber->MSN bounce servers
